Job Title: Accounting Clerk, Centralized Payment
Please note: This position is 100% in-office in Guelph, ON.
Job Summary
Responsible for creating and maintaining supplier profiles within the ERP system, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. This role involves regular communication with suppliers to verify and update banking and other critical details, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Creating and maintaining supplier profiles within the ERP system, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
Verbally confirming vendor details by calling new and existing suppliers. Details include but are not limited to company name, parent company, address, contact numbers, email remittance address and banking information.
Maintaining the vendor list in the ERP to avoid duplicate vendors.
Connect suppliers to various intercompany facilities
Manage the transition of updating supplier payment platforms such as Wire, ACH, EFT, cheque and supply chain financing
Create various ad hoc vendor reports upon request
Work with other departments including Corporate Purchasing and Centralized payments for vendor setup and trouble shooting.
Academic/Educational Requirements
Completion of secondary school or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing or Supplier/Vendor related experience.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy with a focus on attention to detail.
- Able to effectively interact with co-workers; demonstrating good communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as IFS, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiar with different electronic payment methods like SEPA, EFT, ACH, and Wire are an asset.
- Ability to learn new software and work procedures with a willingness to expand financial knowledge.
