M.V. Shore is currently looking to hire a Mechanical (HVAC & Plumbing) Revit Designer specializing in building services design with the ability to produce drawings in REVIT for high-rise residential buildings. The designer will be working with a project manager to help on the design and drafting for a given project. Candidates will need to be highly motivated with good communication skills. The candidate would work under the direct supervision of a project manager. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)
- Perform specific tasks assigned by the Project Manager within the defined time
- Perform REVIT tasks assigned within given hours
- Adhere to REVIT MEP standards
- Co-ordination of drawings with codes
- Review of drawings between other disciplines
- Prepare REVIT model & drawings from sketches, mark-ups and/or design
- To develop piping layout and duct runs in co-ordination with the structure, electrical and architectural components
- To perform sizing of duct and pipe services in accordance with office standards
- Check layouts of mechanical services for interference/clashes with other components of the building such as structure, ceilings, lighting, etc.
- Develop details and layout of mechanical rooms and service spaces
- Be familiar with space heating & air conditioning load calculations
- Any other tasks assigned by Principals or Project Managers required to assist in the success of the firm
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Possess 5+ years of experience in the field of mechanical building services
- Demonstrate a strong desire for advancement and professional development
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a complex environment often driven by project deadlines
- Be a college graduate of a mechanical building services program
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of REVIT MEP experience and have exposure to HVAC and plumbing systems
- Must be familiar with various HVAC and plumbing systems and develop layout of pipe and duct runs in coordination with the structure, electrical, interior design and architectural components

SCHEDULE
- 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
**Applicants must reside in the GTA and be willing to commute, as this role requires full‑time, on‑site work in the office.
**This position requires regular on‑site work in the GTA. Only candidates who currently live in the GTA or are willing to relocate/commute will be considered.
