We are looking for a QA Analyst with hands-on experience in functional test execution and defect management. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing documented test cases using the Blueray tool, validating results, documenting test outcomes, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the testing cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and familiarize yourself with documented test cases available in the Blueray tool.
- Execute functional test cases according to defined testing requirements and procedures.
- Validate test results and identify any discrepancies or defects.
- Document test execution results and maintain accurate testing records.
- Log, track, and manage defects identified during testing using the Blueray tool.
- Re-execute test cases following defect fixes to confirm that issues have been successfully resolved.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders throughout the testing cycle to communicate testing progress, findings, and defects.
- Support the overall quality of deliverables by ensuring test cases are executed thoroughly and results are properly documented.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in functional/manual test execution based on documented test cases.
- Hands-on experience with the Blueray tool for test case execution and defect management.
- Strong understanding of the manual testing lifecycle, including test execution, result validation, defect logging, and retesting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results and defects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a project team and coordinate throughout testing and defect-resolution cycles.
Role Focus
This is primarily a QA execution role focused on functional validation of existing test cases. The position does not specifically require test case design, test automation, test plan development, or team leadership.
