Engineering Project Lead
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technologist/Engineering Project Lead to support automation, robotics, and equipment projects within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC, HMI, robotic, and safety systems
- Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD
- Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Support robotic welding, tooling, and equipment development
- Perform root cause analysis and implement equipment improvements
- Prepare project proposals and present updates to management
Requirements
- 3-year College Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of automotive manufacturing experience
- Experience with PLC, HMI, robotics, safety PLCs, and VFDs
- Robotic welding experience required
- AutoCAD experience
- Willingness to travel to the U.S. as required
