Electronics AssemblerPay: $19.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time + 2X Overtime
Location: Markham, ON
We are currently hiring Electronics Assemblers to support the production of small, precision-based electronic and medical technology components. This position is well suited to individuals who are comfortable performing detailed hands-on work and can maintain accuracy while working with very small parts.
The work is highly structured and follows established production procedures, quality standards, and documented instructions.
Responsibilities- Assemble small electronic and precision components according to established work instructions
- Perform detailed hand soldering, including work completed under magnification
- Apply adhesives and bonding materials to small components with accuracy
- Use microscopes, magnification equipment, and camera-assisted systems during assembly
- Handle delicate parts requiring steady hands and strong hand-eye coordination
- Inspect completed assemblies for defects, workmanship, and quality compliance
- Conduct basic product checks and testing as required during the assembly process
- Record production information and complete required manufacturing documentation accurately
- Prepare completed products and components for packaging or shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Follow documented quality procedures and ISO 13485 manufacturing requirements
- Safely lift or move materials weighing up to 50 lbs when required
- Complete additional production duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Relevant ExperienceCandidates with experience in any of the following areas may be well suited for this position:
- Electronics assembly
- Medical device manufacturing
- Small component or micro-assembly
- Jewelry manufacturing or repair
- Watchmaking or watch repair
- Laboratory or technical bench work
- Precision manufacturing
- Other positions involving detailed handwork, fine motor skills, or small components
Qualifications- Post-secondary education in Biotechnology, Electronics, Medical Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field is considered an asset
- At least 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience in precision assembly, electronics, medical devices, jewelry, laboratory work, or a comparable environment is preferred
- Previous hand soldering experience is an asset
- Experience working with microscopes or magnification equipment is preferred
- Comfortable handling very small and delicate parts for extended periods
- Able to carefully follow written procedures, diagrams, and detailed work instructions
- Experience working within a regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environment is an asset
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards is considered an advantage
