Part-Time Temporary Instructors, Nursing
Medicine Hat College is seeking part-time temporary nursing instructors in our collaborative nursing degree program with the University of Calgary. These part-time, positions include opportunities beginning in the Winter 2027 term in lecture, lab and clinical across a variety of settings and areas of practice, including but not limited to pediatrics, acute care, mental health, and perinatal.
A little about the role:
This position will provide instruction to students in the clinical setting and engage in all aspects of student and program success, including, but not limited to, program orientation and participation in meetings and curriculum review.
Winter 2027 term:
Clinical Instructors:
- NRSG 352 Acute Care
- NRSG 553 Pediatrics
- NRSG 551 Mental Health
- NRSG 552 Perinatal
As a successful applicant you will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required
- A master’s degree is beneficial.
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Current or immediate eligibility for CRNA registration as be a member in good standing
- Prior teaching experience preferred, with the ability to incorporate theory into practice
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy
