Job Title: Factory Automation Assistant
Reports To: CEO
Department: Production Overhead
Role Type: 6 Months Contract with possibility to covert to Full-time in future
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on electronic assembly, modification, repair, and rework.
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with soldering, desoldering, wire termination, connector installation, and component replacement as required.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation-related issues.
- Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
- Assist engineers and production staff with equipment setup, testing, and process improvements.
- Identify production problems and assist in determining root causes and corrective actions.
- Perform inspections and functional testing of electronic assemblies and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of rework, repairs, testing, and equipment issues.
- Keep the work area organized and follow company safety and quality procedures.
- Support other general manufacturing and production support duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working with basic hand tools.
- Detail oriented, quality conscious, well organized, analytical and reliable
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic interest or understanding of electronics, electrical systems, or mechanical assembly.
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small parts.
- Flexibility to work shifts and perform different inspections according to business needs.
