THE ROLE
We are hiring a senior, hands-on operator who can help manage the daily commercial side of the business.
You will handle client communication, coordinate team activity, maintain operational follow-through and personally help qualify, set and close revenue opportunities.
You will report directly to the Founder and CEO while working across Sales, Marketing, Strategic Partnerships and Delivery.
Existing department leaders will retain ownership of their teams and professional areas. Your role is to connect those departments, maintain accountability, manage handoffs and ensure clients and commercial opportunities continue moving.
You will have the authority to request updates, confirm agreed next steps, monitor deadlines and hold owners accountable. You will not override department leaders or create competing instructions.
HOW YOU WILL WORK ACROSS THE BUSINESS
Sales
Work alongside the sales leadership and sales team to qualify opportunities, coordinate lead ownership, set appointments, support discovery calls, maintain CRM accuracy, prepare approved proposals, follow up and close assigned deals.
The sales leadership will continue to own the sales team, lead-assignment process, pipeline standards and overall closing process. You will strengthen that function, not replace it.
Marketing
Work with the marketing, social media and content teams to turn campaigns, outreach and inbound interest into qualified conversations.
You will communicate offer priorities, provide feedback on lead quality, ensure genuine opportunities receive prompt follow-up and help move marketing-generated interest into the sales pipeline.
The marketing team will continue to own brand direction, campaigns, content and audience growth.
Strategic Partnerships
Work with the strategic partnerships function to coordinate introductions, follow-up, proposals, meetings and internal support for larger or high-value opportunities.
The relationship owner will retain control of the partnership while you ensure the opportunity continues progressing internally.
Delivery
Work closely with the hosting, web, software, application, automation, design and technical delivery teams.
Before anything is proposed or promised, you will confirm requirements, feasibility, delivery costs, scope, capacity, milestones and realistic timelines with the appropriate delivery team.
After a deal closes, you will coordinate the handoff, maintain client communication, track approvals and milestones, follow up on outstanding information and help address issues before they escalate.
Delivery teams will retain authority over technical decisions, production requirements and realistic delivery commitments.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Management
Act as a reliable point of contact for assigned clients
Coordinate discovery, onboarding, progress and review calls
Gather requirements and confirm priorities
Manage expectations using approved scope and timelines
Maintain clear communication between clients and internal teams
Identify concerns before they become larger problems
Follow up on information, approvals, invoices and payments
Coordinate delivery updates, revisions and client sign-off
Identify retention, upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Team and Operational Coordination
Track commitments, owners, deadlines and outstanding actions
Follow up with team members until agreed work is completed
Ensure meetings end with clear next steps
Identify delayed work, communication gaps and stalled handoffs
Help run internal and client check-ins
Support approved onboarding and offboarding processes
Escalate repeated non-performance to the appropriate department leader or CEO
Keep communication professional, documented and focused
Sales and Revenue
Respond quickly to assigned opportunities
Qualify prospects by need, budget, urgency, authority and potential value
Conduct outreach and follow-up where required
Set qualified appointments
Run discovery calls
Coordinate approved proposals
Handle objections and follow up consistently
Negotiate within approved commercial boundaries
Personally close suitable opportunities
Reactivate previous clients and stalled leads
Identify recurring-revenue and account-growth opportunities
Move opportunities from interest to collected revenue
Systems and Commercial Control
Keep Pipedrive accurate for assigned leads and opportunities
Maintain lead owners, stages, values, notes and next actions
Use Slack for documented team coordination
Use Trello to track tasks, owners, deadlines and progress
Keep approved proposals, client documents and assets organized in Google Drive
Track proposals, invoices, payments and commission eligibility
Ensure client and project handoffs are properly documented
CEO Support
Handle routine business and client communication
Organize calls, agendas, notes and follow-up actions
Monitor urgent, overdue and blocked work
Resolve appropriate operational issues independently
Prepare concise updates covering progress, risks and decisions required
Protect the CEO’s time by escalating only matters requiring executive approval
FINAL CEO APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR
Pricing changes or discounts
Refunds or unusual payment terms
Contracts and legal commitments
Final project scope, costs and delivery timelines
Commission percentages and shared-deal splits
Company spending

REQUIREMENTS
At least three years of relevant experience in B2B sales, client success, account management or commercial operations
Demonstrated ability to qualify, set, follow up and close
Experience coordinating people across different business functions
Strong written and spoken communication
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Confidence handling clients, objections and difficult conversations
Ability to maintain accountability without creating unnecessary conflict
Commercial judgment and respect for pricing, scope and delivery boundaries
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Experience with CRM, task-management and online collaboration systems
Reliable availability for scheduled meetings and meaningful overlap with PST business hours
COMMISSION
Commission is up to 25% on eligible opportunities personally led and closed.
Shared opportunities may be divided between contributors based on who sourced, qualified, set, managed and closed the deal.
All commission terms require written approval. Commission is paid only after the applicable client payment has been received and cleared.
Opportunities range from recurring hosting and support accounts to websites, ecommerce, marketing engagements, custom software, CRM systems, mobile applications and larger automation projects.
