The Opportunity
Help shape the future of one of Canada's most significant environmental restoration projects.
ML6 is partnering with a leading Canadian energy organization to find a passionate, strategic leader for a rare opportunity: directing the safe, cost-effective planning of a landmark nuclear decommissioning effort.
As Director, Site and Decommissioning Projects, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team, guide the long-term site end-state strategy, and work alongside Indigenous Nations, regulators, and industry partners to deliver lasting results for the site and the communities around it.
If you're ready to take on work with real legacy and real impact, we'd love to talk.

- Lead development and implementation of the end-state strategy, covering environmental remediation, land use, infrastructure disposition, waste management, and regulatory closure.
- Lead engagement with Indigenous Nations and communities, regulators (including CNSC), government agencies, local stakeholders, and industry partners, and represent the company in consultations, reviews, and audits.
- Oversee the handoff of approved projects to delivery organizations and support them through execution, capturing lessons learned along the way.
- Promote a strong nuclear safety culture and ensure all work meets regulatory, licence, environmental, and quality requirements.
