Make an impact with our Digital Managed Services team as a Microsoft 365 Consultant. In this client-facing role, you will plan and deliver Microsoft 365 and IT Infrastructure projects that help organizations modernize how they communicate, collaborate and work. From new tenant deployments and workload implementations to tenant and email migrations, security hardening and environment optimization, you will take ownership of medium-complexity engagements from discovery through delivery and handover. Working alongside project managers, architects and our managed services teams, you will help clients get lasting value from their Microsoft investment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects of medium complexity, from discovery and design through implementation, validation and handover.
- Assess client environments, document the current state, and translate business requirements into practical, secure and scalable technical solutions.
- Plan and execute tenant, email and content migrations that minimize business disruption and protect data integrity.
- Design, implement and configure collaboration, messaging, identity and security solutions aligned to leading practices and client governance requirements.
- Perform environment health checks and assessments, and recommend improvements to configuration, security posture and licensing utilization.
- Select the right tools and approach for each engagement, and automate repeatable tasks to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
- Perform post-implementation validation, troubleshooting and support, and deliver knowledge transfer to client IT teams.
- Transition completed projects into ongoing managed services, ensuring documentation, configurations and support requirements are clearly handed over to service delivery teams.
- Provide escalation support to managed services teams for complex technical issues.
- Facilitate client workshops and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including designs, runbooks, as-built documentation and handover materials.
- Work within project scope, timelines and budgets, keeping project managers informed of progress, risks and change requests.
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution scoping, level-of-effort estimates and statements of work.
- Contribute to the development of repeatable delivery methodologies, templates and leading practices for the team.
- Build trusted advisor relationships through exceptional client service and a focus on achieving business objectives.
- This role requires travel to client sites, estimated at 25% of working time.
Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, migrating or supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- 2+ years of experience in a consulting, professional services or project delivery role, delivering client engagements against defined scopes, timelines and budgets.
- Proven project experience with:
- New Microsoft 365 tenant deployments and workload configuration
- Tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Email migrations to Exchange Online from on-premises, hybrid and third-party sources, including Google Workspace
- File server and SharePoint on-premises migrations to SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams
- Strong working knowledge of the following technologies:
- Messaging and collaboration: Exchange Online, Exchange hybrid, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams
- Identity: Microsoft Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, hybrid identity, Conditional Access, MFA and SSO
- Security and compliance: Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Purview (retention and data loss prevention)
- Microsoft Azure: Virtual Machines, Virtual Desktop (AVD), Storage, Networking, Backup and Recovery, Monitor and Management Services
- Core services: DNS/DHCP, mail flow, domain verification and certificates
- Experience implementing endpoint management and device compliance solutions using Microsoft Intune.
- Hands-on experience with one or more migration tools such as ShareGate, Quest On Demand Migration, BitTitan MigrationWiz or native Microsoft migration tools.
- Experience scripting and automating administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues under time pressure.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and passion for continuous learning.
- Ability to obtain a criminal record check and federal security clearance.
- Proficiency in (French/English) is an asset.
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102), Teams Administrator (MS-700), Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) or Azure Administrator (AZ-104) are considered strong assets.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT services organization.
- Infrastructure experience, including:
- Networking (routing, switching, firewalls and VPN)
- Windows Server and Linux server administration
- On-premises Active Directory
- Storage, backup and recovery solutions
- Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Patch and update management
- Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
- Adoption and change management activities supporting Microsoft technology rollouts.
- Copilot for Microsoft 365 readiness assessments.
