Responsibilities

Courteously receive and screen all incoming calls and emails
Perform a variety of administrative and clerical office support activities for multiple staff ensuring timely adherence to deadlines
Process documents related to insolvency filings
Greet, assist and direct all visitors in a professional manner
Schedule appointments with clients
Open, close, organize and maintain insolvency files
Create, format, assemble and proofread drafts
Maintain all incoming and outgoing courier packages and mail
Provide general admin support to consultants, managers and partners
Uphold electronic and paper filing systems
Scan and E-file documents
Prepare letters, as directed, using template letter formats
Respond to inquiries
Communicate and coordinate with the team regarding client service work and the flow of information
Provide support and guidance to other team members
Schedule team meetings
Assist with tax assembly and processing as required

Skills and Experience

Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in an administrative or support position
Experience working in a Professional Services environment, in insolvency, is considered an asset
Strong customer service skills
Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in answering and directing customer phone calls through a phone system in a professional, courteous manner
Understanding of Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn internal databases is an asset
