Telecom Analyst
Full-Time
Hartland or Fredericton, NB (Hybrid)
Reporting to the Manager of Network & Infrastructure, the Telecom Analyst is responsible for coordinating Network & Voice circuit installations, procuring mobility services, maintaining contract details, and assisting with billing inquiries related to Voice, Internet, and Mobility services.
How You'll Help:
- Oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of Network & Voice circuit installations.
- Work closely with service providers and internal teams on circuit changes, additions, relocations, and removals.
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with various ISPs and key vendors.
- Resolve issues related to service delivery and billing.
- Conduct billing analysis to ensure adherence to contracted rates.
- Support budget forecasting efforts.
- Contribute to ROI analysis for new telecom projects.
- Process and submit invoices for Mobility services.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all contracted circuits and invoicing.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist in user training initiatives.
- Update and maintain process documentation.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Post-secondary diploma in a technical program focused on IT infrastructure management is an asset.
- 2-3 years of experience in an Enterprise IT environment is a strong asset.
- Proficient understanding of key technical aspects of voice and data infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas and report generation.
- Strong expertise in operating within an Enterprise ITIL environment.
- Excellent analytical and coordination abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience working with a telecom service provider in Canada and the US is advantageous.
- Experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
