About Myant:
Myant is building the technologies that connect people, machines and intelligence through advanced textile computing, materials science, AI and connected health technologies.
Within the Myant ecosystem, Myant Health is focused on transforming healthcare through the Internet of Humans: connecting people, AI and machines through intelligent textile-based interfaces and continuous health measurement. Our SKIIN™ technology transforms everyday clothing into a sophisticated health interface capable of capturing meaningful, clinical-grade health information, while HumanOS provides the platform for bringing together data from textile sensors, medical devices, wearables and other connected technologies to create a more continuous view of human health.
Myant Health is currently focused on objective measurement and accessible diagnostic solutions across areas including cardiovascular health, sleep, hypertension, diabetes and musculoskeletal health. Our work includes solutions such as 14-day cardiac monitoring, home sleep apnea testing and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, with a broader vision of creating continuous diagnostic and, ultimately, therapeutic interfaces that can become part of everyday life.
The Opportunity:
Myant is at a pivotal stage of commercialization as we bring textile computing and continuous, clinical-grade health monitoring into everyday healthcare.
Through the Skiin platform, Myant has developed a medical-grade, washable garment capable of supporting cardiac monitoring for up to 14 days. Health Canada-approved Skiin enables cardiology clinics and hospitals to conduct extended Holter studies while supporting a more efficient model for patient monitoring and clinical workflow.
As Account Executive, Cardiology, you will be responsible for driving adoption and revenue of Myant’s cardiac monitoring service across cardiology practices, community diagnostic clinics and hospital cardiology departments, initially across Ontario.
This is a true healthcare sales role. You will sell to cardiologists, practice owners, clinic managers, cardiology department leaders and hospital procurement teams. The value proposition is grounded in the economics and operational realities of each customer: helping practices increase study capacity, improve report turnaround and generate additional value from their existing clinical resources.
You will own the sales cycle from prospecting and business development through contract close, implementation and account growth, working closely with Partner Success and internal teams to ensure new sites become productive and continue to expand their use of the platform.
Your commercial accountability will be measured through active sites and completed studies, with a focus on building a sustainable base of cardiology customers and growing utilization within those accounts.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development & Sales Execution
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of cardiology practices, community diagnostic clinics and hospital cardiology departments.
- Own the sales cycle from first contact and discovery through business case development, negotiation, close and first study.
- Develop relationships with cardiologists, practice owners, clinic managers, cardiology department heads and hospital procurement stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand beyond individual physicians or departments into additional physicians, locations and programs.
- Consistently prospect, qualify and advance opportunities against defined sales targets.
- Maintain accurate opportunity, activity and forecast information in HubSpot and provide reliable weekly forecasting.
Commercialization & Business Case Development
- Develop a compelling business case based on each customer's actual study volumes, billing model, staffing capacity and current reporting turnaround.
- Position Myant's cardiac monitoring service around measurable customer outcomes, including:
- Increased study capacity without proportionally increasing staffing.
- Faster report turnaround.
- Improved utilization of existing clinical resources.
- Sustainable clinic economics based on the customer's own volumes and billing.
- Understand the operational and financial considerations that influence how cardiology practices evaluate ambulatory monitoring solutions.
- Clearly communicate Myant's capabilities and limitations, ensuring that all customer claims are supported by available evidence.
Hospital & Institutional Sales
- Navigate the more complex buying environment within hospitals and health systems.
- Develop relationships across both clinical and commercial stakeholders.
- Support opportunities involving:
- Cardiology departments purchasing Holter monitoring services.
- Hospital-at-home programs purchasing remote patient monitoring capabilities.
- Lead hospital opportunities through procurement requirements, including RFPs, group purchasing organizations, vendor onboarding and credentialing.
- Coordinate internally to ensure commercial commitments are aligned with operational, clinical and implementation requirements.
Account Launch & Customer Growth
- Partner with Partner Success to transition newly won customers from signed agreement to active site.
- Coordinate requirements including customer requisitions, EMR workflow integration and training for technologists and front-desk staff.
- Stay close to newly launched accounts to ensure physicians continue ordering and customers achieve the expected value from the service.
- Identify opportunities to increase study volume across physicians, departments and locations.
- Build long-term customer relationships that translate into recurring study volume and account expansion.
Market Development & Industry Presence
- Represent Myant at relevant cardiology conferences and industry events, including the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress and regional cardiology organizations.
- Build and maintain a strong network across cardiology practices, diagnostic clinics and hospital stakeholders.
- Bring market intelligence back to Myant, including customer needs, competitive activity, purchasing dynamics and emerging opportunities in cardiac monitoring.
First-Year Priorities
During the first year, success in this role will be demonstrated through the ability to:
- Establish a strong and qualified Ontario cardiology sales pipeline.
- Open new cardiology practices, diagnostic clinics and hospital accounts.
- Convert qualified opportunities into active customer sites.
- Drive completed cardiac monitoring studies and recurring utilization.
- Build relationships with cardiologists, clinic decision-makers and hospital stakeholders.
- Successfully navigate hospital procurement and institutional buying processes.
- Develop repeatable commercial and economic messaging for Skiin cardiac monitoring.
- Establish strong handoffs and working relationships with Partner Success to accelerate customer activation.
- Expand utilization within launched accounts by increasing ordering physicians, study volumes and participating locations.
- Maintain disciplined CRM management and reliable weekly forecasting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are a healthcare sales professional with established credibility in cardiology and a track record of selling cardiac diagnostics, monitoring technologies or medical devices into clinical environments.
You understand that successful healthcare sales require more than product knowledge. You can speak credibly with a cardiologist about clinical workflow, with a clinic manager about staffing and throughput, and with hospital procurement about purchasing requirements and vendor onboarding.
You are commercially driven and comfortable owning a number, but you also understand the importance of selling within the evidence and building trust with healthcare professionals.
You bring an existing network in the Canadian cardiology ecosystem and know how to turn relationships into qualified opportunities, new accounts and sustained utilization.
