Role Overview:
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer to own Myant's public-facing web presence (company and product websites, landing pages, SEO, analytics) and to contribute to our core connected-health platform, including the clinician and patient web applications. You'll work across the frontend (React/Next.js, TypeScript) and, depending on your background, the backend on AWS (Node.js, Python or Java).

Key Responsibilities:
Public Web Properties
- Own the company and product websites end-to-end: CMS, hosting, CDN, domains, and uptime.
- Drive technical SEO and Core Web Vitals for all public-facing sites.
- Ensure public sites meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility (AODA) and privacy/cookie-consent requirements (PIPEDA, GDPR).
Core Product
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to implement intuitive and scalable user interfaces.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability, maintaining Core Web Vitals / Lighthouse targets and monitoring performance in production.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, testing, and clean, well-documented code.
- Drive technical decisions for the web stack (frameworks, CMS, hosting, tooling) and mentor other developers.
- Integrate with backend services and APIs to deliver a seamless experience.
- Work within our regulated medical-device software development lifecycle (IEC 62304), including documentation, traceability and test evidence.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional web development experience, including 3+ years with React and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js (server-side rendering and static site generation).
- Solid responsive, cross-browser development and web accessibility (WCAG) skills.
- Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals.
- Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Query).
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
- Proficiency in building reusable UI components and design systems.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.).
- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control (Git, GitHub).
- Experience deploying and hosting websites (CDN, DNS, SSL).
- Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders (marketing, product).
- Proven hands-on skill with AI-driven development: working with coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor), authoring agent skills and custom instructions, and connecting tools and data through MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, while critically reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Backend experience with at least one of Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- AWS experience (Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Cognito).
- Experience in healthcare or regulated software (IEC 62304, HIPAA/PHIPA).
- Working from Figma designs and design systems.
