Location: Brampton, ON L6Y 5S - 4 days onsite per week
Job Description:
DevOps Requirements:
- Platform engineering with strong cloud infrastructure fundamentals - Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Networking, Compute, Storage, IAM/WIF, BigQuery, Cloud Logging).
- Development proficiency in Golang and Python - for platform tooling, automation, and microservices.
- GitLab - CI/CD pipelines, repo administration at scale.
- Terraform - IaC authoring and management across many projects/teams.
- Kubernetes - hands-on operational and architectural depth (GitOps/ArgoCD, RBAC, custom controllers).
- Team handling - proven experience managing and growing a distributed engineering team.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry collector fleet management & OpenTelemetry in general.
- Observability stack experience (Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, PagerDuty)
- Exposure to AIOps/FinOps practices.
- Experience with Backstage or other internal developer platforms.
