Financial Services Associates play a crucial role in providing exceptional support services to all of our clients divisions. Their wide range of responsibilities and expertise enable them to effectively address client queries, prepare informative portfolio reports, create presentations and proposals for client meetings, and ensure accurate and timely account setup. Financial Services Associates are an essential part of the team and contribute significantly to our client’s success.
Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Review portfolios and research suitable investment options based on established objectives to prepare accurate and relevant documentation for meetings.
- Analyze portfolios, plan, make recommendations, and decide on allocation strategies.
- Plan and make projections for retirement.
Meeting Preparation:
- Prepare tax packages.
- Create presentations and proposals for meetings.
- Prepare summaries and other documents.
Account Management:
- Fill out new account application forms, both paper and online.
- Facilitate accurate and timely setup, Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT), RRIF payments, processing.
- Good Knowledge of RRSPs and TFSAs.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Update and maintain client records
- Ensure databases are regularly updated and accurately reflect current information, including maintaining and managing comprehensive contact lists.
- Conduct thorough reviews of documents to ensure they are accurate, complete, and adhere to organizational standards and guidelines.
Regulatory and Confidentiality Standards:
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost care, consistently upholding strict confidentiality standards.
- Continuously monitor and stay up to date on changes in financial regulations that may impact investment practices, ensuring compliance and adaptability.
Records Management:
- Manage the organization and archiving of both active and inactive client files, ensuring they are properly categorized and easily accessible.
Team Collaboration:
- Provide assistance to the team and collaborate with other divisions within the organization.
Skills/Qualifications:
- university or college degree in finance or business is an asset.
- 1-4 years of recent and relevant experience, is deemed an asset. Training will be provided.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Possess excellent attention to detail.
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS OfficeSuite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other relevant programs.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000 yearly
