Job Summary
Parts Avatar is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to focus on our business operations and accounting metrics. You will be responsible for translating complex financial and operational datasets into clear, visual stories. This role is crucial for tracking company performance and providing our leadership team with the dashboards required to make optimal financial and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the operations and accounting teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Design, develop, and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) reports and dashboards using Tableau (or similar tools) to monitor business and financial performance.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze various operational data from diverse sources to identify cost-saving trends, fulfillment patterns, and optimization opportunities.
- Assist in data quality initiatives and ensure data integrity across our financial and operational logging systems.
- Analyze operational bottlenecks and supply chain costs to generate actionable insights for business improvements.
- Develop a robust, data-informed strategy for marketing platforms by interpreting various marketing signals.
Qualifications
Degree required in a quantitative field, Business Analytics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Fluency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and manipulation.
Expertise in Python data stack (e.g., Pandas/Polars, NumPy, Matplotlib).
Advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting.
Extensive, hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, QuickSight, or similar dashboarding platforms.
Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Git.
Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and marketing data analysis is an advantage.
Strong collaborative skills, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to multitask, and manage competing priorities effectively. Critical eye for data quality and data integrity.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, as English is the primary working language across teams in Ontario and Quebec. French is considered an asset.
