WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS :
Pitcher & Doyle is hiring for a Claims Administrator who is bilingual in English and French. The Claims Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, tracking, and management of claims. This role involves reviewing claim documentation, coordinating with internal departments and external parties, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and certificate requirements. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience in claims handling or administrative support.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
•Receive, review, and process incoming claims in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Maintain and update claims records in the claims management system.
•Verify claim information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with certificate requirements.
•Communicate with claimants, insurance companies, vendors, and internal teams to obtain required documentation or clarify details.
•Monitor claim statuses and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
•Prepare and distribute regular reports on claims activity, trends, and outstanding issues.
•Support claims adjusters or examiners with administrative tasks.
•Identify discrepancies or potential fraud and escalate as necessary.
•Assist in audit preparation and compliance tracking.
•Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
What YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
•Minimum of 1 year of administrative or customer service experience; insurance industry experience is an asset
•Knowledge of claims processes and documentation requirements.
•Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication with a client service mindset
•Fluency in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages, is required
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
•EPIC experience is an asset
