Role Description
A Senior Epic Analyst with Managed Services owns day-to-day support and maintenance for assigned Epic applications and leads application build within that scope. The Senior Epic Analyst resolves support issues, coordinates upgrade activities, and identifies improvements that strengthen application reliability and client workflows.
- Serve as a primary analyst for Epic maintenance, build, configuration, incidents, and service requests.
- Investigate application issues, document findings, implement approved resolutions, and coordinate dependencies with other application teams.
- Lead build for assigned application areas during Epic upgrades, including Nova note review and build.
- Complete and coordinate unit, application, and integrated testing and provide command center support during go-live.
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve application functionality and workflows; recommend practical solutions.
- Manage assigned support and project work, communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to clients and peers.
- Maintain accurate ticket, build, testing, and change documentation.
- Follow client and company security, confidentiality, documentation, and change control requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
An Active Epic Certification in one of the following applications:
- Willow
- Hospital Billing
- Professional Billing
- Ambulatory
- Healthy Planet/Compass Rose
- Cadence
- Inpatient ClinDoc
- MyChart
- EpicCare Link
- Minimum of 1-3 years of healthcare experience.
- Current certification in the primary Epic application.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues and organize work across support and upgrade activities.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, information systems, and Microsoft productivity tools.
