About the Role
We are currently looking for a Capital Markets Middle Office Associate to join a growing team in Montreal.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–5 years of experience in Capital Markets Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support or Back Office who has a good understanding of financial products and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
- Support the trade lifecycle from Front Office execution through post-trade processing
- Review trade information and documentation to ensure accuracy and data quality
- Monitor trade bookings and investigate discrepancies or exceptions
- Perform reconciliations across different products and systems
- Work closely with Middle Office, Back Office and other internal teams to resolve breaks
- Support daily processing activities and operational controls
- Identify process improvements and help strengthen operational efficiency
What we're looking for
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support or Back Office
- Good understanding of FX and/or Rates products
- Experience with trade booking, reconciliation, settlement or post-trade processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working with high volumes and time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to learn new products and processes quickly
- Experience with Calypso or similar trading/processing systems is an asset
- Experience with derivatives, swaps, repo or collateral is a plus
- Strong English communication skills
