Play a strategic role in the digital transformation of construction projects by leading the implementation of BIM and VDC processes from the tendering phase onward. You will serve as the link between client requirements, technical teams, and external partners to ensure innovative project execution aligned with project objectives.
What you will do
- Develop the BIM Management Plan and key processes for the design and tendering phases.
- Analyze client requirements and integrate them into bid strategies. Position the VDC team as a strategic partner by creating value-added service offerings.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define VDC best practices.
- Lead and develop a team of VDC Coordinators and Integrators.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables while meeting project timelines.
- Coordinate with project partners (designers, subcontractors, etc.) to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Promote a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in cost evaluations and strategic project planning.
- Act as an innovation ambassador for Pomerleau, both internally and with external stakeholders.
- Travel to Pomerleau offices throughout as Canada as Required

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, or an equivalent field, or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the building design and construction industry.
- Strong understanding of BIM protocols and their implementation.
- Solid knowledge of design tools and collaborative platforms used within the industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills, essential for working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing and engaged teams.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to effectively allocate BIM resources across projects.
- Ability to establish, manage, and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
