TEACHER
Verdant Valley Colony School

We are searching for an energetic, self-motivated teacher to join our team at Verdant Valley Colony School in a full-time position commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the Alberta curriculum to students in Grades 1 to 9.
The ideal applicant will engage learners across a wide age range and create a supportive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that fosters curiosity, growth, and a love of learning. Strong instructional practice, a sound knowledge of effective teaching strategies, effective use of technology, and excellent communication skills will be essential to success in this role.
Candidates should possess training and experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) and be prepared to teach within a multi-grade and multi-subject classroom setting. Flexibility, strong classroom management, and the ability to differentiate instruction will be key components of the position.
Previous experience teaching on a Hutterite Colony would be considered an asset.
