Role: Identity & Access Management Lead Analyst / Security
Type: Perm Employment, 3X a week onsite in Ottawa ON
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, implements, integrates, tests and manages solutions to support the Identity and Access Management (IAM) business objectives.
- Involved in all phases of systems analysis, both the planning of system development and the technical design.
- Provide leadership and guidelines in the implementation of solutions, ensuring the use of best practices while adhering to established University architectural standards.
Must Haves:
- 7 years of experience in identity & access management, security, or related area
- 5 years of experience in solution development, platform engineering, and implementation
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of various programming languages and scripting languages (e.g.: Java, JavaScript, Python, Node, PowerShell, etc.) and of computing hardware, software and software development methodologies
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including access certification, RBAC, ABAC, identity lifecycle management, and policy enforcement
- Extensive experience designing end-to-end business system solutions in a complex application and technology environment.
- In-depth knowledge of IAM protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and SCIM
