Original job description
QuiikMart is looking for a Finance & Strategy Co-Founder to help build the business properly from the financial side.
We are building a grocery marketplace focused on helping people access ethnic grocery stores more easily, while helping stores grow through technology, operations, and delivery.
Right now, we are looking for someone who is strong with numbers and wants to help shape the company at a foundational level.
This is not a basic finance role. I am looking for someone who can think like an owner.
You would help lead things like:
financial model and unit economics
pricing, margins, and commission strategy
cash flow planning and burn tracking
fundraising readiness and investor materials
bookkeeping structure and financial reporting
making sure the business is financially sound as we grow
Ideal background:
strong in finance, accounting, FP&A, consulting, corporate finance, investment analysis, or startup finance
able to turn messy early-stage numbers into clarity
understands marketplaces, e-commerce, retail, grocery, logistics, or delivery economics
practical, sharp, and execution-focused
based in Toronto or close enough to work together in person when needed
This role is best for someone who wants to be deeply involved in building a real company from an early stage, not just advise from the side.
