Quik’s Farm Ltd. is a cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 35 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with site personnel and internal teams to plan and execute work efficiently using available resources.
- Conduct site visits to define scope of work, prepare cost estimates, and develop project proposals.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, tracking progress against milestones and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Determine the appropriate execution strategy for each project, including self-performing work or outsourcing, to meet cost, timeline, and quality objectives.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to support successful project delivery.
- Identify potential risks or issues proactively and implement timely solutions to minimize impact.
- Lead and document project progress meetings, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Meet regularly with the management team to review project status, budgets, and overall satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly.
- Plan and oversee the expansion of greenhouse facilities, including design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, contractor management, and integration with existing operations.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the institutional, commercial and civil construction industry with technical post-secondary education.
- Experience estimating and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work.
- Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of the means and methods of construction associated with the construction and renovation of commercial and institutional buildings typical throughout British Columbia.

Work Location: In person
Wages Offered: $37-43 / hour
This position may require you to work on Saturdays and Statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.
