Human Resources S/4 Implementation Lead on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR S/4 Implementation Lead to guide our HR workstream through the integrated, end-to-end design, build, and deployment of SAP Cloud processes and capabilities. In this pivotal role, you will have a specific focus on SAP CATS time and absence management, alongside critical integrations and related systems such as Workday, Fieldglass, and SAP SAM.
You will champion user experience, solve complex integration hurdles, and ensure our HR digital transformation aligns seamlessly with overarching enterprise workforce and financial planning goals.

- Time & Absence Solution Delivery: Successfully design, build, deploy, and sustain time and absence tracking solutions adhering to "fit-to-standard" principles while prioritizing end-user experience.
- Integration Optimization: Mitigate current integration pain points between SAP and core HR ecosystems (e.g., Workday, Fieldglass).
- Workforce Planning Alignment: Partner closely with the CFO workstream to establish robust data building blocks for workforce and FTE planning processes.
- Workstream Momentum: Drive the day-to-day execution of the HR workstream, proactively identifying, resolving, or escalating issues to the Director, People.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Leadership: Lead HR team members through every phase of the project lifecycle - including design, build, test, training, and deployment.
- Process Workshops: Facilitate and co-facilitate process and requirements gathering sessions in active partnership with the System Integrator (SI).
- Fit-to-Standard Enforcement: Ensure SAP-enabled business processes strictly adhere to fit-to-standard principles for the HR business function.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Provide strategic input and leadership into cross-functional dependencies, including data integrity, reporting, change management, and training.
- Governance & Approvals: Accountable for process design approvals for routine workstream decisions; conduct thorough analysis and present clear recommendations for high-impact strategic decisions to relevant governance bodies.
- Change Management: Act as a change champion throughout sustainment and operations, ensuring critical process owners and stakeholders remain actively engaged.

- Change Management Lead: Assess and navigate change management impacts of key
- decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience leading transformation work in large-scale ERP / SAP cloud projects.
- Deep technical knowledge of the HR function, with a comprehensive understanding of the full process lifecycle for time, absence tracking, and contractor time management.
- Proven understanding of SAP, Workday, and Fieldglass system architecture, with a strong track record of identifying integration pain points and implementing effective solutions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus across diverse cross-functional teams.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (A Master’s degree or MBA is considered an asset).
- Certifications (Preferred)
- SAP Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Time Management, or SAP S/4HANA).
- Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci / ADKAR).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
