About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to act as the primary on-site lead for a high-impact financial integration project. In this role, you will lead a critical system transition from Sage 50 to a modernized corporate ERP, while systematically migrating core accounting functions into a Corporate Shared Services model.
If you are a designated finance professional who excels at documenting complex workflows, leading system migrations, and acting as a steady, collaborative change agent on-site, this is an exceptional project to add to your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Documentation & Workflow Mapping: Map out end-to-end accounting processes, approval matrices, and system touchpoints for billing, AR/collections, AP, banking, payroll, month-end close, and job costing. Identify operational gaps and key-person risks.
- ERP System Migration: Direct the full-lifecycle migration out of Sage 50. Map the legacy Chart of Accounts (COA), vendor/customer master files, and financial dimensions to corporate standards. Oversee data cleansing, parallel testing, and final system cutover.
- Shared Services Transition: Standardize workflows by writing clear SOPs and training the Corporate Shared Services team. Coordinate parallel runs and secure milestones signoffs to ensure zero disruption to daily business.
- IT & System Continuity: Audit and inventory all software licenses and subscriptions, secure admin credentials, and partner with Corporate IT to manage user security permissions.
- Executive Project Tracking: Maintain the master integration roadmap. Deliver concise, weekly project dashboards directly to the CFO highlighting wins, upcoming milestones, and required executive decisions.
- On-Site Change Management: Build strong, collaborative relationships with the regional finance team to alleviate transition anxiety, manage retention risks, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation or equivalent senior/managerial accounting experience with strong operational exposure.
- Direct, hands-on experience migrating legacy ERPs (e.g., transitioning out of Sage 50, NetSuite, Dynamics, or Oracle).
- Deep operational understanding of job costing, intercompany billing, and shared services models.
- Proven ability to report project status directly to C-suite executive leadership (CFO, VP of Finance).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach to managing organizational change on-site.
