About Our Client & The Role
Our client is a highly respected, industry-leading enterprise organization. They are seeking an innovative ServiceNow Technical Lead to act as a Service Enablement Lead, bringing both deep technical expertise and a strong business lens to their operations.
In this permanent role, you will champion the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) practice, aligning complex data models with overarching business needs. You will partner with IT Asset Management and Service Configuration teams to drive thought leadership, optimize CMDB maturity, and modernize data discovery practices across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- CSDM & Platform Leadership: Lead the implementation, adoption, and sustainment of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) across the ServiceNow platform.
- Architecture & Service Mapping: Oversee the design and implementation of Service Mapping and define the data flow architecture across modules (e.g., SAM, HAM, APM).
- Process Optimization: Drive technical data normalization prior to CMDB ingestion and implement automation enhancements for configuration management practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a subject matter expert to translate technical dependencies into business service models, partnering with IT Ops, Cloud Engineering, Finance, and Enterprise Architecture.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent, alongside 7+ years of progressive experience in the ServiceNow Platform, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
- Advanced hands-on experience designing and sustaining ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, and CSDM.
- Proven technical expertise in IT Asset Management (SAMPro/HAMPro) integrations with CMDB, including deep knowledge of CMDB governance and data normalization.
Nice to Haves:
- Active ServiceNow certifications in Platform, ITOM, ITAM, or CSDM are highly preferred.
Important Details
- Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 / Year.
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite).
- Locations: Toronto, London, or Winnipeg.
- Work Week: 37.50 hours/week.
