Where You’ll Fit In
As an Account Manager, you'll be the face of Red River Mutual within an assigned broker portfolio, building trusted partnerships, championing the broker experience, and driving profitable growth across your territory. Reporting to the Manager, Business Development & Distribution, you'll lead broker meetings, training, and events, and connect brokers with the expertise, tools, and resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage assigned broker relationships to drive sales, growth, and long-term engagement.
- Build and sustain a strong pipeline through broker acquisition, portfolio development, and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align broker strategies with strategic initiatives, product launches, and business goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including retention, loss ratio, and portfolio growth.
- Represent the company at industry and broker events to elevate brand visibility and foster new connections.
- Create tools and deliver training to brokers that support sales enablement and business development.
- Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, competitive dynamics, and product offerings
- This role involves frequent travel, primarily within assigned broker portfolio, with occasional overnight trips

What You'll Bring
- Post-secondary education in business or related field
- 8+ years of sales/business development experience in the P&C insurance industry
- CIP designation completed or in progress is considered an asset
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and customer service skills with proven success in driving new and existing business
- Strategic thinker with solid business planning and analytical abilities
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
