Our client is seeking a contract based Full Stack Developer with strong mobile development experience across Swift and React Native, combined with backend development expertise in Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS. The environment is primarily Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud-native, containerized and event-driven architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy mobile applications using Swift/SwiftUI and React Native/Expo.
- Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
- Own features end-to-end across the mobile application and backend services.
- Develop native Swift components for capabilities such as authentication, camera, location, push notifications and background processing.
- Integrate mobile applications with enterprise systems and third-party services.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using Entra ID/MSAL, OIDC, JWT and RBAC.
- Build and operate cloud-native services using Azure Container Apps and Azure API Management.
- Work with Azure SQL, messaging and caching technologies.
- Utilize Azure App Configuration, Key Vault and Managed Identity for application configuration and security.
- Develop applications that perform effectively under real-world field conditions, including poor connectivity and offline scenarios.
- Create automated tests covering critical mobile workflows and API contracts.
- Troubleshoot production issues using Application Insights and other observability tools.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Architecture and DevOps teams throughout delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, estimation, technical design and release planning.
- Document architecture decisions, operational procedures and failure scenarios.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ yrs experience as a fullstack developer
- Production experience developing applications using React Native.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
- Strong commercial development experience with native iOS using Swift, including UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as Azure SQL.
- Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus or equivalent.
- Understanding of modern authentication and authorization including OIDC, JWT and service identities.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs through an API gateway.
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices, automated testing and production support.
- Ability to communicate technical designs and decisions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Expo and EAS.
- Experience deploying iOS applications through TestFlight, Intune or MDM platforms.
- Experience developing Swift packages or native modules that integrate with React Native.
- Experience with Azure Container Apps.
- Experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
- Experience with Azure App Configuration, Key Vault and Managed Identity.
- Experience with Azure Functions.
- Experience with Application Insights and production incident troubleshooting.
- Previous experience developing field service, workforce or enterprise mobile applications.
