About The Role
We are looking for an experienced AWS Developer to design, develop, and integrate event-driven applications on AWS. You will work closely with our platform and product teams to build scalable, serverless architectures that power our AI governance platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop event-driven serverless applications using AWS Lambda and related services
- Build and maintain integrations between AWS services (SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway)
- Write clean, maintainable Python code following best practices
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or GitHub Actions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise application performance and cost
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in AWS development
- Strong proficiency in Python (primary language for Lambda functions)
- Deep experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS
- Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing patterns
- Familiarity with AWS CDK or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
- Understanding of IAM, security best practices, and least-privilege access
