Role Description This part-time Retail Salesperson role is an on-site position based in Etobicoke, ON. The Retail Salesperson supports customers by providing friendly, informed assistance, answering questions, and guiding them to appropriate products and services. Day-to-day tasks include processing sales transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, restocking shelves, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring merchandise is accurately priced and displayed. The role also involves learning and sharing product knowledge, supporting pharmacy team initiatives, and following company policies and health and safety guidelines. The Retail Salesperson collaborates with colleagues to deliver consistent service standards and contributes to a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all customers.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet customer needs and support store performance.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Communication skills to interact respectfully and effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Candidates should possess Product Knowledge skills, with a willingness to learn about health, wellness, and pharmacy-related items offered in-store.
- Previous experience in retail or pharmacy settings is beneficial, along with basic math and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate merchandise, and work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and customer-focused environment.
