Key Responsibilities and Accountability
Receiving Incoming Materials
- Unload incoming materials from trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring materials are handled according to company procedures and safety requirements.
- Verify incoming shipment documentation against the physical containers received to confirm accuracy, completeness, and condition of materials.
- Identify and report discrepancies, missing materials, damaged containers, or documentation issues to the appropriate supervisor or department for follow-up.
System Transactions and Inventory Accuracy
- Complete receiving and shipping transactions accurately in the V3 system to ensure inventory records are updated in a timely and reliable manner.
- Maintain accurate material movement records by scanning, recording, and confirming materials according to established procedures.
- Support inventory accuracy by ensuring that physical materials, documentation, and system records are aligned.
Finished Goods Shipping Preparation
- Prepare finished goods shipments according to shipping requirements, customer expectations, and internal procedures.
- Scan finished goods accurately before shipment to confirm product identification, quantity, and shipment readiness.
- Ensure shipment documentation and system information support accurate and complete outbound shipments.
Truck Loading and Damage Prevention
- Load finished goods onto trucks safely and accurately, following shipping instructions and handling requirements.
- Use appropriate care when moving, staging, and loading materials to prevent product or container damage.
- Confirm that shipments are properly loaded and secured to support safe transportation and accurate delivery.
Safety, Compliance and Housekeeping
- Perform all shipping and receiving activities in compliance with company safety rules, workplace procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support efficient material flow and reduce risk of incidents or damage.
- Use required equipment and handling methods responsibly and report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents promptly.
Environmental Responsibility and ISO 14001 Support
- Support the company’s environmental management system by following ISO 14001 requirements and applicable environmental procedures during shipping and receiving activities.
- Handle, store, and move materials in a manner that helps prevent spills, leaks, contamination, waste, or other environmental impacts.
- Report environmental concerns, incidents, spills, or unsafe handling practices promptly and support corrective actions when required.
