Key Responsibilities
Program Frameworks, EHS Resources, and Enterprise Communications
- Participate in and coordinate EHS program framework documentation, including policies, procedures, SSOPs, job aids, training materials, forms, checklists, templates, and EHS Resource Hub (central EHS document management system) content.
- Coordinate enterprise communication of EHS updates through EHS Huddles, EHS Professionals Circle, safety bulletins, learning updates, EHS Resource Hub messaging, and site implementation guidance.
- Support sites by providing framework guidance, communication tools, resource navigation support, reporting instructions, and process clarification.
- Prepare coordination and documentation resources for critical risk programs.
Corrective Actions, Incident/Hazard Reporting Support, and Audit Documentation
- Track EHS corrective actions from audits, incidents, hazard recognitions, inspections, Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) findings, and leadership walks; monitor closure timelines and escalation needs.
- Support incident, near-miss, and hazard reporting processes by preparing reports, tracking follow-up, supporting root cause analysis documentation, and maintaining records.
- Support EHS audits, regulatory inspections, customer audits, and internal reviews by preparing documentation and tracking findings to closure.
- Coordinate EHS performance reporting inputs, including training completion, TRIR/DART-related inputs, safety talks, leadership walks, leading indicators, and corrective-action status.
Training Framework Coordination, Communications, and Capability Development Support
- Coordinate EHS programs, initiatives, and improvement activities across locations.
- Support the development of EHS capability development frameworks by preparing tools, templates, learning materials, guidance, communications, and implementation resources for plant onboarding, monthly safety learning, specialized user programs, site equipment qualification, contractor safety, and facilitator certification.
- Support enterprise-level training coordination by preparing assignment guidance, completion tracking tools, reporting inputs, and communication resources that enable sites to administer local delivery and maintain records.
- Participate in the development of general EHS training framework materials and support related initiatives by preparing implementation guidance, communication resources, and follow-up expectations that enable sites to localize and deliver training consistently.
- Respond to day-to-day training-related inquiries from Site Training Administrators and other stakeholders by clarifying processes, explaining implementation expectations, and helping sites apply corporate guidance consistently.
Contractor Safety, Environmental Support, and Compliance Documentation
- Coordinate contractor safety documentation, including orientation packages, acknowledgements, safe work permits, insurance, workers’ compensation evidence, training certificates, SDS information, and scope-based policy requirements.
- Support environmental compliance activities, including spill response documentation, waste handling expectations, SDS/chemical information, compliance calendars, and site-specific environmental requirements.
- Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) / safety committee documentation, meeting minutes, inspection items, recommendations, action owners, and follow-up status.
Continuous Improvement, Analytics, and Cross-Site Standardization
- Help identify gaps in training, documentation, compliance tracking, hazard recognition, reporting, and corrective-action follow-through, and recommend process improvements.
- Promote a proactive EHS culture by reinforcing shared ownership, early reporting, practical risk prevention, learning from incidents, and continuous improvement.
The annual base salary range for this position is $56,640 - $77,800. If you are hired, your annual base pay will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role.
