Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy
- Develop strategic business objectives, key initiatives, and implementation roadmaps for the financing business within the assigned region, based on industry trends, the local business environment, and the business strategies of SANY’s various product lines.
- Develop 3–5-year stretch business plans and identify, secure, and prepare the resources required to achieve long-term business objectives.
- Business Management & Control
- Continuously monitor developments in the local financial and economic environment, as well as laws and regulations related to financing activities, and provide accurate assessments and analysis of the operating environment.
- Conduct thorough analysis of factors that may have a significant impact on the business and provide strategic recommendations to the Chairman.
- Oversee and monitor the business activities of the local management team, including the General Manager and other key business leaders, to ensure objective and accurate reporting of business performance.
- Prepare and submit regular business analysis reports to the Chairman.
- Legal Entity Establishment
- Conduct feasibility assessments for establishing local legal entities in accordance with the Company’s development strategy.
- Lead the establishment of local entities in compliance with applicable legal, tax, regulatory, and corporate registration requirements.
- Coordinate and complete key setup activities, including corporate registration, office/site selection, tax registration, bank account opening, applications for required business licences and permits, and local team establishment.
- Policies, Processes & Management Systems
- Establish standardized management systems based on prudent business management principles, including organizational structures, business processes, KPIs, and performance assessment models.
- Develop and continuously improve policies and frameworks covering areas including, but not limited to:
- Business and financial products;
- Risk control and risk management;
- Operational management;
- Customer management and accounts receivable/collection;
- Asset management and disposal;
- Data governance and information management;
- Accounting standards and practices;
- Treasury and fund management; and
- Human resources management.
- Promote digital and intelligent management by coordinating IT and technology resources to implement end-to-end online business processes based on established policies and procedures.
- Continuously identify and address gaps, pain points, and operational bottlenecks in existing policies, processes, and systems based on changes in the market and operating environment, with the goal of improving overall operational efficiency.
- Risk Management & Control
- Lead the annual review and assessment of risk-control strategies for financial and financing products.
- Participate in the analysis of abnormal or significant risk events, coordinate risk-control improvement initiatives, and lead or participate in the review of operating standards to improve service quality and reduce business risk.
- Provide guidance on the establishment of an enterprise-wide risk management framework, recommend continuous improvements to risk-control models, and support the development and enhancement of risk management systems.
- Team Management
- Determine the organizational structure and critical positions required to support the Company’s business development.
- Identify and recommend high-performing talent and ensure effective alignment between employees, roles, and organizational needs.
- Foster a positive and performance-driven organizational culture.
- Develop and implement strategies and action plans for employee training, development, performance management, assessment, and incentives in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and continuously develop the team while driving improvements in organizational efficiency and workforce productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of international financing and leasing business processes, particularly financial products, customer management, credit management, and post-financing/lease management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute market strategies and business development plans.
- Minimum of 8 years of management experience in financing/leasing within the industry or in an equipment/manufacturing-related financing environment.
- Strong expertise in customer management, risk management, and compliance, with demonstrated experience in establishing policies, processes, and management systems.
- Excellent ability to assess industry trends, market developments, and changes in the broader business environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational development, and team-building capabilities.
- Strategic and enterprise-wide perspective, with the ability to translate strategy into stable and effective execution.
- Excellent communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and resource integration skills.
- Professional proficiency in English; able to use English as the primary working language.
