The Position
Reporting to the Director, Segment and Product Marketing, you will be responsible for building go-to-market plans and leading segment marketing strategy and execution for Energy solutions. As the segment advocate and domain expert, this role brings the voice of customers and regions into cross-functional planning and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and the Strategy Team.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Define and communicate clear value propositions for new and existing customers in partnership with Segment and Solutions Directors, Solution Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and the wider Marketing team.
- Build and execute go-to-market plans and segment marketing strategies aligned with business plans, commercial priorities, and target-market demand.
- Design and continuously improve multi-touch, integrated campaigns across the customer journey to acquire, engage, and retain users.
- Create sales enablement materials, including battle cards, case studies, and demo videos, and help customer-facing teams strengthen product, solution, and market knowledge.
- Own assigned initiatives and coordinate cross-functional delivery across departments, regions, time zones, products, and solutions.
- Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, regional teams, Product Managers, and Segment and Solution leaders.
- Use customer segmentation, engagement data, and feedback to deliver targeted communications and refine segment strategy and user journeys.
- Research current and prospective markets, monitor trends, identify future opportunities, and ensure marketing data and content meet applicable documentation and statutory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, another business-related field, or a technical field related to the Energy sector.
- At least 7 years of experience in a mid-senior marketing role within a fast-paced, dynamic B2B business environment.
- Essential experience in B2B marketing and Product and Solution Management.
- Experience working in or adjacent to the upstream energy sector, particularly geothermal or oil and gas, is highly valued.
- Experience marketing complex or technical products, or specific energy-industry experience, is advantageous.
- Experience working in a global team with colleagues across different regions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Strong leadership and influencing capability, with the ability to align a broad cross-functional group around a common vision and objective.
Additional Information
This office-based role is located in Vancouver and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office. Occasional international travel may be required.
