As a Temporary Warehouse Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping materials, parts, and inventory moving efficiently to support both internal teams and customers. We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and eager to learn, with an interest in warehouse operations and hands-on work in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you'll help maintain an organized warehouse and yard, support inventory accuracy, and contribute to responsive customer service. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in attention to detail, and values teamwork
Base Hourly Wage: $34.74. Additional premiums may be available.
Location: Edmonton, AB
Term: 12 months. With possibility for extension
Shift Rotation: 5x2 (Monday to Friday)
What You Bring
- Receive, ship, and process incoming and outgoing materials.
- Pick and prepare parts orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse and yard organization, cleanliness, and safety.
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Complete daily cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
- Assist with warehouse inventory management activities.
- Provide professional service when interacting with customers and suppliers.
What You Bring
You bring previous experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, or basic logistics, a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, and a valid Class 5 driver's license. You take a reliable, team-oriented approach to your work and contribute to safe and efficient warehouse operations.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, power jacks, reach trucks, or man lifts.
- Valid Fall Arrest certification.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and occasional weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- WHMIS training.
- TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) training.
- First Aid certification.
- Fire Extinguisher training.
- Hoisting and Rigging training.
