The Details:
- Permanent, Full-Time positions available for licensed Red Seal Millwright
- Location: 350 Bell Blvd, Belleville, Ontario
- Shift starts at 6am
- We are a Pork processing facility
- Full Benefits after 3 months of employment (health/vision, dental)
- Overtime opportunities
- Annual boot and tool allowance
- Hourly Wage Range is $38 to $42
The Tasks:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
- Conduct equipment inspections and complete maintenance documentation accurately.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support efforts to minimize downtime.
- Fabricate, adjust, repair, and replace machinery components as required.
- Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and 5S-compliant condition.
- Report safety hazards, equipment defects, and quality or food safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and other departments to support production objectives.
- Follow all health and safety, food safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
- Flexibility is required to support business needs, including overtime and shift adjustments as necessary.
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively with all departments in a service-oriented role, providing timely, respectful, and professional support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial or commercial millwright, with experience in food manufacturing or other industrial environments preferred.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment, repetitive tasks, and ability to stand for extended hours
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be able to communicate and understand English
