Lead Structural Design Engineer – Onsite & Offshore Coordination
📍 Mississauga, Ontario | Associate Level | 8–10 Years Experience
We're hiring a Lead Structural Design Engineer to sit onsite and coordinate between client engineering teams and an offshore delivery team on aerospace structural design programs.
Must-Haves:
- Aerospace domain experience
- Prior onsite–offshore coordination experience
What You'll Do:
- Act as SPOC between client stakeholders (Design, Stress, MRB, Manufacturing) and offshore teams
- Coordinate structural design of fuselage, wing, empennage, and interior components
- Review 2D drawings, 3D models, stress reports, and modification packages
- Work in CATIA V5/V6 and ENOVIA; support PLM data management
- Drive ECR/ECO changes and MRB non-conformance disposition
- Track deliverables, schedules, and status reporting across onsite-offshore teams
Required:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Hands-on CATIA and ENOVIA experience
- Working knowledge of FAR/CS 25, GD&T, and drawing standards
- Strong stakeholder management in an onsite-offshore delivery model
