Duties
Reporting to the Associate Director, Academic Operations and Scheduling, the incumbent provides academic support service for the apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs in the School of Skilled Trades (tri-campus); coordinates student registration and enrolment for apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs; provides student assistance services for apprenticeship programs; assists with academic and planning of faculty members teaching; administers, grades and safeguards apprenticeship exemption testing; coordinates administrative aspects of a variety of skills competitions involving St. Lawrence College students; provides general administrative support to the Associate Dean, School of Skilled Trades for Ministry mandatory reporting, apprenticeship-related proposals. Provides assistance and support to the Associate Dean, coordinators, faculty, staff, students and works closely with financial aid on sponsorship requirements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 2-year diploma in Office Administration or Business.
A minimum of 3 years of experience of practical work experience providing administrative support in a registration service officer or academic services clerk or academic planning assistant role computerized customer service office environment.

The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Incumbent will be required to occasionally lift up to 5kgs or 11lbs, including boxes of handbooks, flyers or files.
