Robotics Engineer
Boston area; flexible but primarily on-site
We are looking for an early-career engineer who wants to build robots that perform real manufacturing work. You will contribute to manipulation, controls, perception, planning, and AI-assisted robotics development while working directly with hardware.
What You May Work On
Integrate sensors, end-effectors, robots, and manufacturing equipment into complete working systems.
Design and run experiments, analyze failures, and improve the repeatability and recovery behavior of robot workflows.
Use AI models and development tools to prototype new capabilities, automate supporting work, and accelerate iteration.
What We Are Looking For
Evidence of hands-on robotics work through projects, research, coursework, open-source contributions, professional experience, or independent builds.
The ability to design useful experiments and debug interactions among software, electronics, mechanics, sensors, and the physical environment.
Curiosity, good experimental habits, and a willingness to take ownership of ambiguous technical problems.
Applicants should indicate the kinds of systems they want to own and develop.
Who this is for
Early-career engineers with hands-on robotics experience, strong experimental habits, and the curiosity to own ambiguous technical problems.
