Reporting to the Manager of Property Developmemt the General labourer is responsible for supporting all aspects of property development and site operations. The successful candidate will support property development operations through a combination of equipment operation and general labour activities. Responsibilities include operating construction equipment, assisting field crews, maintaining equipment and work areas, and ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
THE DAY TO DAY
- Perform tasks such as digging, shoveling, raking, backfilling, compacting, and site cleanup
- Organizing and maintaining material storage areas
- Setting up temporary fencing, signage, and barriers
- Support various trades and subcontractors as needed
- Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, perform routine maintenance checks, and report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Assist with site preparation activities, including cleaning, grading, excavation support, and material placement.
- Misc. carpentry tasks.

- Other duties as requested by management

- An effective Labourer must have the following:
- Hard-working, punctual, and a reliable team player.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Physically fit, able to lift, bend, and work outdoors in a variety of conditions.
- Available to work 45+ hours per week (Monday–Friday).
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
