Summit Search Group is proud to partner with a leading Canadian services provider for the commercial, residential, industrial and agricultural sectors who have been established 40+ years. Due to a recent acquisition and focus on expanding operations in Saskatchewan, we are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Branch Manager to establish, grow and lead the Regina operation.
This is an opportunity to build a local branch with the backing of an established organization with 10+ branches across Canada. You’ll have the support of a proven team and corporate infrastructure across HR, finance, safety, systems and operations, while having significant autonomy and ownership over the success of the Regina branch.
The successful candidate will be directly involved in coordinating crews, trucks, equipment and materials, managing schedules and work orders, supporting customers, developing subcontractor relationships, building the local team and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Regina branch and establish effective local processes and workflows.
- Coordinate project scheduling, crews, materials, equipment and resources to meet production targets.
- Recruit, onboard, train and develop field and operational employees as the team grows.
- Build a high-performing, accountable and safety-focused team culture.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, builders, contractors, subcontractors and industry partners.
- Support estimating, quoting, customer development and business development activities.
- Monitor productivity, job costs, margins, quality and service levels.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to customer expectations.
- Manage branch resources and expenses while contributing to revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions and continuous improvements.
- Work closely with corporate leadership while maintaining ownership of local branch performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in residential services including insulation, roofing, HVAC, restoration, building products or a related industry is an asset.
- Proven leadership experience in construction, operations, branch management, service management or a related environment.
- Experience leading field-based teams and coordinating labour, scheduling, materials and equipment.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build structure and processes in a growing operation.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of costs, margins, productivity and profitability.
- Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Safety-conscious with a commitment to quality and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of construction codes, building envelope principles and architectural drawings is an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Valid WAH certification.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
