Responsibilities
Transport patients safely and promptly between hospital locations, assist with transfers and positioning, and remain with patients during examinations or treatment when required. Handle specimens and patient-related deliveries, document transport details, inspect equipment, respond to assigned emergency codes, and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
Successful completion of secondary school, computer application proficiency, and at least one year of experience interacting with patients in a healthcare setting are required. Recent patient transport porter experience is preferred; candidates must also be able to work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, manage pressure and multiple tasks, and meet the physical demands of the role.
