Responsibilities
Prepare surgical case carts for routine, specialized, and emergency situations. Operate decontamination and sterilization equipment, prepare and package sterile instruments and supplies while meeting quality indicators, and deliver and pick up supplies.
Requirements
An approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate and instrumentation experience are required, along with previous Technician II experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing Centre. Candidates should have broad knowledge of surgical services and complex instrumentation, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, computer skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
