Transformation Consultant (Contract)
3-6 Month Contract | Hybrid (Toronto) | Competitive Hourly Rate
We're partnering with a large, complex enterprise undergoing a significant multi-year transformation initiative and are seeking a seasoned Transformation Consultant to help connect strategic objectives, technology investments, operational initiatives, and organizational change into a clear, actionable transformation narrative.

What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with business and transformation teams to support a large enterprise-wide transformation program.
- Bring together multiple workstreams, initiatives, and stakeholder perspectives into a coherent transformation vision.
- Connect strategic objectives with technology and operational initiatives to demonstrate how individual efforts contribute to broader organizational goals.
- Create current state, transition state, and future state views that communicate the evolution of people, processes, and technology.
- Develop executive-level materials, operating models, strategic roadmaps, and transformation artifacts that support decision-making.
- Review existing transformation work and recommend enhancements based on industry best practices.
- Simplify complex information into compelling visual stories and business presentations.
- Support cross-functional teams by introducing proven frameworks, methodologies, and transformation approaches.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities across interconnected workstreams.
- Help senior leaders communicate transformation progress, priorities, and long-term vision.

Required Experience
- Experience supporting large-scale business or technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex information from multiple stakeholders and business areas.
- Demonstrated success developing strategic roadmaps, target operating models, future-state designs, or transformation frameworks.
- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
- Strong storytelling and visualization capabilities.
- Experience translating technical and operational concepts into business-focused recommendations.
- Comfortable working directly with teams while also engaging senior leadership stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization programs.
- Exposure to complex, matrixed organizations with multiple business functions and technology teams.
- Familiarity with transformation, process improvement, or operating model methodologies.
- Experience creating executive presentations, transformation roadmaps, business models, and strategic planning materials.
- Lending, banking, or financial services would be considered a bonus
Tools & Methods
The environment leverages common business process, modeling, and presentation tools. Experience with process modeling, visualization, strategy documentation, and executive communications is highly valued.
Engagement Details
- Contract Length: 3-6 months
- Location: Toronto
- Hybrid Work Model: Approximately 2-3 days onsite per week
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience: $52 - $84
- Immediate start preferred
