Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and identify safety or maintenance concerns
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform repairs on brake systems, suspension components, steering systems, and other vehicle systems
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, service manuals, and repair software to troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Document inspection findings, repair recommendations, and completed work accurately
- Complete repair orders according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding repair status and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Strong experience in automotive maintenance and repair
- Proficiency in performing routine services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid maintenance
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
- Knowledge of suspension, steering, and brake system diagnosis and repair
- Automotive Service Technician Certification or equivalent technical training preferred
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools and interpret technical information effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
