Original job description
About Taskclan
Taskclan is a Canadian AI company building one connected ecosystem across six pillars: Intelligence, Cloud, Studio, Engine, Enterprise and Lab.
Our technology includes the T1 model family, Taskclan Cloud Console and CLI, T1 Studio, enterprise governance capabilities and a growing product portfolio that includes GameNova, Nani, Forge3D and Spaces, TalentKit, ProposalAI and Ostrae.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Business Co-Founder and Founding GTM Lead to build Taskclan’s commercial engine alongside the founder. You will help determine which markets and products we prioritize, develop our customer pipeline, secure partnerships and turn early adoption into repeatable revenue.
This is a hands-on founding role for someone who wants meaningful ownership and responsibility. It is not a conventional sales position with an established playbook.
What you will own
• Refine our ideal customer profiles, positioning, packaging and pricing
• Conduct customer discovery and turn insights into commercial decisions
• Build a pipeline of design partners, pilots and paying customers
• Lead outreach, sales conversations, proposals and negotiations
• Develop channel, technology and industry partnerships
• Establish our CRM, revenue metrics and weekly operating cadence
• Support investor outreach and fundraising preparation
• Help recruit and lead the future commercial organization
What we are looking for
• At least five years of experience across B2B sales, partnerships, growth or business development
• Experience selling an early-stage SaaS, cloud, developer or AI product
• Evidence that you can build a pipeline instead of inheriting one
• Strong communication, storytelling and negotiation skills
• Comfort working through ambiguity and making decisions with limited data
• The ability to commit approximately 15–20 hours per week initially
• At least three hours of collaboration availability with Eastern Time on agreed working days
Compensation and commitment
This is initially a part-time, equity-only founding role. There is no cash salary at present. The proposed equity range is 3%–5%, depending on experience, commitment and the final scope of the role.
Any equity grant will be governed by a formal agreement, four-year vesting, a one-year cliff and board approval. Our intention is to transition the position into a paid, full-time leadership role once Taskclan secures sufficient financing or recurring revenue.
Why join now
You will have a direct role in deciding how Taskclan enters the market, which opportunities we pursue and how the company grows. This is an opportunity to build the commercial foundation of a Canadian AI company from the beginning.
To apply, tell us about something you sold before there was an established playbook, the customers you sold it to and how you created the initial pipeline.
