Original job description
About Nani Health
Nani is Taskclan’s AI-powered Family OS. It helps families coordinate schedules, routines, household responsibilities, memories, caregivers and important family information.
Nani Health will extend this foundation into responsible family-health organization, education and support. It will not be positioned as a substitute for qualified medical care.
The opportunity
We are looking for a licensed Canadian healthcare professional or experienced digital-health specialist to serve as our Clinical Safety & Digital Health Advisor.
You will help us define what Nani Health can safely do, establish clinical boundaries and review product decisions involving health information, families and children.
This is an advisory role. It does not involve diagnosing users, prescribing treatment or establishing a clinician-patient relationship through Nani.
What you will own
• Help define the clinical scope and boundaries of Nani Health
• Review health-related product requirements, workflows and language
• Identify clinical risks, unintended consequences and potential harms
• Establish escalation guidance for urgent and emergency situations
• Review parental consent and child-safety considerations
• Help distinguish wellness, organizational and medical functionality
• Review educational content for accuracy and responsible presentation
• Advise on symptom, medication and health-record features before release
• Help assess when external regulatory classification is required
• Review how AI-generated health information is presented to families
• Establish procedures for clinical-content review and version control
• Collaborate with privacy, compliance, product and engineering teams
• Support partnerships with healthcare professionals and organizations
What we are looking for
• Current or recent Canadian clinical licensure or substantial digital-health regulatory experience
• A background in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, pediatrics, family health, mental health or health informatics
• At least five years of relevant professional experience
• Understanding of clinical safety, consent and patient communication
• Experience with digital-health applications is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PHIPA and Canadian health-privacy expectations
• Ability to communicate clinical risks clearly to non-clinical teams
• Strong judgment around children, parents and vulnerable users
• No expectation that the product should make unsupported medical claims
Compensation and commitment
This is initially a part-time, equity-only advisory role with no cash salary. The proposed equity range is 0.1%–0.5%, depending on credentials, commitment and final responsibilities.
The engagement will use a formal advisor agreement. Equity should generally vest monthly over two years with a three-month cliff, subject to legal review and board approval.
To apply, provide your professional background, jurisdiction of practice and any experience advising digital-health products.
