Senior DevSecOps / CIAM Developer
Location: Downtown Montreal, QC
Contract: 12 months, with possibility of renewal
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Work Model: Hybrid – approximately 6 days onsite per month
Language: Bilingual French and English required
Role Overview:
Seeking a senior DevSecOps / Solution Architecture professional to design, implement and evolve secure cloud-based solutions, with a major focus on CIAM (Customer Identity & Access Management), DevSecOps automation, APIs and cloud infrastructure.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
- 10–15 years of IT/Solution Architecture experience.
- Strong DevSecOps and SRE experience.
- Deep hands-on CIAM/IAM expertise with platforms such as Ping Identity/PingOne, Okta, Keycloak, Auth0, Azure External Identities or similar.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM and FIDO2 authentication/authorization.
- Strong cloud experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Experience deploying APIs and applications on Kubernetes.
- Strong Terraform/IaC and CI/CD experience using technologies such as GitHub, ArgoCD/GitOps and SonarQube.
- Experience with API gateways such as Apigee, Kong, Traefik or similar.
- Understanding of secure cloud networking including WAF, DNS and DDoS protection.
- Experience with observability/monitoring such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor or Log Analytics.
- Knowledge of C#, JavaScript, microservices, API integration and distributed architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/SAFe, OWASP and secure SDLC practices.
- Fluent French and English – mandatory.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, integrate and evolve the organization's CIAM platform across front-end, back-end, APIs and identity services.
- Design secure authentication, authorization and customer identity journeys.
- Lead DevSecOps automation, cloud deployments, IaC and CI/CD.
- Design secure, scalable cloud and application architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and recommendations across development, infrastructure and security teams.
- Act as a senior SME/coach and help resolve complex production and architecture issues.
